The first half of 2019 passed quietly, and the diligent people of Weihe seized the end of June in a timely manner, vigorously opening up another piece of Xinjiang territory - the Great Northeast.
On June 19th, Weihe and his team checked in at Jilin Provincial Blood Center and conducted a product demonstration of our company's HPA, HLA-A, and B. Director Jiao and researchers from Jilin Provincial Blood Center jointly participated in this training demonstration. 16 known types of HPA and 3 samples of HLA-A and B were provided by the Provincial Blood Center, and Weihe technicians conducted qPCR validation on these samples. After reagent preparation and sampling, product and operation introduction, and final result interpretation and explanation, all HPA, HLA-A, and B sample types are completely consistent, and have been unanimously recognized by the teachers of the Provincial Blood Center for our company's products. Our company's product is qPCR probe method, which is more specific, has higher throughput, and greatly improves experimental efficiency compared to traditional SSP methodology. It has received praise from teachers.

Are our friends satisfied with the successful conclusion of Jilin? Of course not. On June 2nd, at the invitation of the Hebei Provincial Blood Center, we, Weihe Biotechnology, participated in an operational training course on transfusion compatibility testing ability and standardization of blood type identification. We also provided product training on platelet typing to the head of the transfusion department and laboratory technical supervisor of the third level comprehensive hospital in Hebei Province.

In this training session, the Hebei Provincial Blood Center provided 16 known types of HPA and 3 HLA-A and B samples. After on-site technical operation verification, the methodology of Weihe qPCR was identical to SSP for type determination, and received unanimous praise from Director Wang of the Provincial Blood Center and all the teachers present.

It is worth mentioning that compared to the ABI 7500 fluorescent quantitative PCR instrument, which was widely used in the original reagent kit, the QuantStudio 5 quantitative PCR instrument was used in the Hebei Blood Center this time, and a completely paired sample type was obtained, further demonstrating that our product has no limitations on the instrument and is suitable for multi platform operations.
The first half of 2019 ended unexpectedly no matter what, and Weihe people never stopped moving forward.
