The 6th China (Taizhou) International Pharmaceutical Expo was hosted by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the State Food and Drug Administration, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the Ministry of Health of the PLA General Logistics Department, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and co organized by the China Biotechnology Development Center, the China Association for International Talent Exchange, the Biopharmaceutical Commission of the China International Chamber of Commerce, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Co., Ltd., the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Health and Family Planning Commission, the Food and Drug Administration, the Intellectual Property Office, the Jiangsu Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It will be held from October 30th to November 1st, 2015 at the China Pharmaceutical City Exhibition and Trading Center in Taizhou, Jiangsu.
The previous Medical Expo attracted over 3000 visitors from more than 10 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Israel, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and more. Nearly 500 companies including the Fortune Global 500, the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies, and the top 50 domestic pharmaceutical companies participated in the exhibition, bringing together over 5000 patents and innovative achievements from around the world.
The exhibition area of this year's Medical Expo is 17000 square meters, including nearly 50 special booths and about 220 standard booths. It is divided into the China Pharmaceutical City, well-known pharmaceutical enterprises and international cooperation and exchange exhibition area, medical device exhibition area, domestic and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises, research and development institutions exhibition area, health food, and Jiangsu Province "time-honored brand" product exhibition area.
The Medical Expo deeply implements the Scientific Outlook on Development, with the theme of "strengthening the integration of technology and finance, and promoting the transformation of innovative achievements". In accordance with the requirements of internationalization, specialization, and marketization, a series of activities such as pharmaceutical information release, technology product display, project negotiation and docking, and professional summit are held to build an international exchange and cooperation platform for pharmaceutical technology innovation and industrial development, further gather innovative resources and high-end talents at home and abroad, accelerate the construction of Taizhou Medical High tech Zone, and promote the good and fast development of the biopharmaceutical industry in our province.
